From his songwriting to his voice to his stage presence, Greg Michaels brings the whole package that places him among the "best" in the Midwest country music scene. His music journey began with a guitar, piano, and a pen but after a few years of hard work and focus, his talents landed him some great opportunities and the start of an exciting career. In 2004 and 2005, he spent the weekends playing acoustic shows and building a strong fan base throughout central MN. He quickly learned the ropes of the "live" setting which lead to the start of a solo career with a backing band. In late 2005 and early 2006, Greg recorded a four song demo, got his backing band together, and from there began to hit the road and put on an entertaining show. In 2006 Greg also landed the opportunity to open for Nashville recording artist "Jamey Johnson". Now with everything in place and songs to be heard, Greg plans on going into the studio this summer to record his debut CD. The CD will include his current fan favorite songs such as "I Want It All Back" and "One Hot Night", some new unheard songs, and his new hits such as "All-American" and "If That Ain't Country I Don't Know What Is".
